snagad

How snagad works

snagad lists live Amazon and Walmart deals, promo codes, and clip coupons in one place, sorted by how much you save. It doesn't sell anything. Every deal links to the product on Amazon or Walmart, where you buy it.

Where the deals come from

snagad collects deals from several public deal-tracking services that watch Amazon and Walmart prices. It merges duplicate listings, groups the colors and sizes of one product onto one page, and keeps only deals that haven't expired.

Questions

How often does snagad update its deals?
snagad rebuilds its list every 30 minutes from several deal feeds. Most feeds update at least that often, Walmart deals about every 2 hours, and a few feeds once a day. A deal leaves the list when it expires, or about a day and a half after its source stops listing it. Every deal shows when its source last listed it.
Do the promo codes work?
Codes come from public deal-tracking services. Some show when a source last confirmed them, but any code can stop working without notice, and stores sometimes limit a code to certain accounts. If a code fails at checkout, the store's price is the one you pay.
What's a clip coupon?
A clip coupon is a discount you turn on from the product page on Amazon or Walmart before you check out. snagad names the coupon to clip, such as "$5 off", next to the deal.
How is the discount calculated?
The discount compares the current price with the usual price reported by the deal source. Deals are sorted by that percentage, biggest first.
Does snagad cost anything, or change the price I pay?
No. snagad is free. It can earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through its links, and that commission never changes your price.
